These Vegetable Dyed Scarves are 100% cotton muslin square handkerchiefs. The size is 20 in x 20 in square. Dyed with Japanese Indigo for a blue color, Walnut Hulls for brown, or Fresh Goldenrod Blossoms for yellow. All the vegetable dyes were grown and/or wild harvested from our farm in Southwest Virginia. These scarves are seasonal, and limited supply. Each one is unique!
Care and Cleaning: It is best to keep these scarves out of continuous direct sunlight because vegetable dyes are photo sensitive and prone to bleaching out in prolonged sunlight. Spot clean or dry clean for best preservation of color tone. To wash, use cool water and vinegar and line dry.
